rue Son is a white person but lives with the Indians. At first He likes the Indians and wants to stay with them. When the white can get the whites with the Indians True Son thought that his world was going to fall apart. He would rather die than go with them. After living with the humans for a while he was stuck between. He would go with the Indians if he had the chance, but he would also stay with the white if he could. He goes back to the Indians for a while, but then he changes his mind. He gets what he wants and is happy. The book and the movies are somewhat similar and somewhat different. In the movie Half Arrow doesn’t come until after True Son tries to eat the tree root. True Son actually tries to eat it in the movie, but not in the book. True Son and Half Arrow want Half Arrow to come. True Son tackles Dell so that Half Arrow can come. Aunt Kate is in both, but she has a daughter, Shenandoah. To celebrate True Son's return they have a cake and they put something in it and whoever got the cake with the thing had to give it to who they liked the most, True Son got it and he gave it to Shenandoah, in the movie. When we read the book it kept getting dragged on and on. In the movie he went back to the white. In the book he did not. I didn’t like the book because I thought it would be better if he went back to the whites because he seemed to like it there after a while. I also like how there was a girl for True Son in the movie. It made him think better of the whites plus it was a reason for him to go back to the whites. I also liked to see what the characters looked like compared to what I thought they looked like. I like how his Uncle treated him better after he won the fist fight. His uncle finally thought that he was white and he then started to respect
