The Salem Witch Trials were a tragic event. The trials began in 1692 and ended in 1693. A lot of people were accused of witchcraft and having contact with the devil. The accused people were mostly hanged for their crimes. There are a lot of differences and similarities between The Salem Witch Trials and Arthur Miller’s The Crucible.
First of all, Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. The Children were dancing in the woods is different because, in the play, it talks about how Abigail and her friends were in the wood dancing. The next similarity is when Reverend Hale was talking to Tituba, she had to confessed that she was acting as an informer to the devil.
