Abstract

The purpose of this program and project is to invite all students in the school of West Terrace to come together, both general education students and the students of special education. They will come together to work on bowling skills, grow from one another, and participate to the fullest each time. The people

The purpose of the program is to incorporate these two percentages to accommodate a better learning environment between these two groups of students, help promote physical activity, and reduce future obesity. We will incorporate the techniques of proper bowling and social skills at the same time.

Target Audience: West Terrace Elementary School, staff, administration, families, and the communities surrounding the school. The students, staff, and volunteers will be asked first to help out with the event that will last all semester long. At the end of the semester, the community will also be added for the family fun night.

Location: The location for the event will be at Franklin Lanes. It will happen once a week lasting sixteen weeks, where the last week will be the final family event. They already offer after-school programs to schools around the Tri-State on Tuesdays at

1. Bus- $20*16=$320
2. Snacks- Water- 20 Cases $2.50*20=$50 Food- Main Food: Peanut Butter Crackers- 30 cases (15 to a pack) *6.88=$206.40

Summary of Budget
Our Budget consisted of transportation to and from West Elementary School. It should cost about $20 a time. Snacks for the students would cost quite a bit. Making sure students get a nutritional snack too makes a difference in their performance. Making sure they have adequate amount of water for the program and protein is important in this particular program. The shoe and entry fee for the program will be one up front cost. This way we do not have to pay each time. The only other thing we might need, would be flyers, papers, or pamphlets to hand out to the students so that they can give to their families. One would be the advertisement of the family fun night. However, these would not cost anything. We could print and copy them at the school for free of charge. We would need bowling balls, but Franklin Lanes would have them and be included in the cost of the
