My initial interest for nursing occurred from living with my grandparents when I was sixteen. During this time period I gained an interest in both mental and physical heath. My grandfather is a doctor, and he has taught me many things about the medical profession. The main lessons he has urged upon me to learn, was that in essence, patience, empathy and love are just as much apart of the health care profession as knowledge. I believe that in life it is incredibly important to pursue a career in which you are passionate and interested in. Without passion and interest you are unable to to create a positive work place where you can focus on tasks and achieve the most you possibly can. I believe that working in a challenging and demanding work environment will suit my ambitious and caring personality. I am ready to embark on this career, and am willing to do anything within my ability and beyond to achieve so.
