Samson Occom Samson Occom is a Native Indian writer who is a member of the Mohegan tribe. When he was seventeenth years old, he converted to Christianity. When he was twenty years old, he became a Presbyterian cleric who discovered his way of salvation throughout Jesus. Also, he starts to describe the effect of the Great Awakening of his soul to his native community. He finds himself when he puts his faith in Jesus. Occom has a strong relationship to Christianity that it can be interpreted through his writings. Samson believes that God loves us and offers a perfect plan for our lives. He also believes that God wants us to know him through worshiping him. According to Samson, a true Christian will find “a full and perfect heaven”
