For my project I have chosen Samuel Adams to create a new monument for. Samuel Adams was the second cousin of John Adams, he was a unsuccess businessman, leader of the sons of liberty. Also he was one of the leaders of the American Revolution along with George Washington and many others. Samuel adams was in the American Revolution in 1770-1783. He was apart of the First and Second Continental Congress and signed the Declaration of Independence. Finally, he started the revolutionary war that got us our freedom from britain.

For the Samuel Adams monument I would build it in Lexington because of it’s symbolism and I would do that for many reasons. Do to the fact that , that is where the “ shot heard around the world” was fired. Also I

One is to represent the sons of liberty that he leaded and started for the american revolution. Another is that the 3 corner hat also symbolizes people that stood up for our country and put their lives on the line to get us our freedom from britain.Finally, to me the 3 corner hat is a symbol of bravery , hardship ,and freedom.

For the Samuel Adams monument I would have Samuel Adams saluting to the american flag; I would do this for a series of reasons. One reason is to symbolise how he was proud after we won the american revolutionary war ; he was apart of creating ;a place with freedom and no king. Also to support the new world. Finally, He will be saluting to the american flag to show a courtesy for america.

Finally, for the monument i would have Samuel Adams holding the declaration of independents. I would do this for a number of reasons. Such as how he was apart of all this change. Another reason would be because he was one of the people to sign it . Finally, he would be holding the declaration of independents to symbolise our new found freedom he helped
