Samuel Seium. My first goal for Mary is to manage her expectations about her career and help her filter out any unrealistic expectations. The reason for this goal is to make sure that Mary understands that people's career developments are chaotic and do not always go as plan. It is important for her to know that she will suffer setbacks, but it is how she handles the setbacks that matter.
