Experiment 3: Conservation of Matter

Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to demonstrate the law of conservation of mass that mass is neither created nor destroyed. This is clearly shown through chemical reactions which is the purpose of this lab. Before the experiment and after the experiment the mass of the reactants and the reagents should be the same due to this law.
Procedure: The procedure that was used is the same procedure that is listed in Sandra Chimon Rogers Chemistry Laboratory Manual. There was only two things that were changed in the experiment was the size of the side arm flask was brought down to 100mL and
