Sane is an Australian company that provides the network of people with different services to overcome mental health illnesses Their organisation mainly focuses on providing solutions in 8 different categories of mental health illnesses. The health illnesses are suicide prevention mindful employer, mind plus body, aged care, advocacy and policy, hocking fellowship and dealing with crisis and schizophrenia. First three are to improve services to the local community, introduce new welfare reform and drug strategies as well as applying new research in mental illnesses. The next four strategies are to improve the people in the organisation and reduce stigma, influence policy attitudes to teaching people about mental health, increase awareness and understanding of mental health issues and introduce new services where people can go to seek help. The association consists of hardworking citizens and collaborative work members. Also, Sane has an official donation program where people can donate to the 4 million Australians affected by various mental illnesses. As well as these donations go to the Sane committee to help support, recruit, train, teach and convince others to continue working at Sane Donations are also given by other events. Such as in 2015, aSane citizen named Dan Watson walked 5,000 kilometres from Perth to Sydney and raised more than $40,000 for SANE Australia and the Cancer Council.
