As students complete the process of school they come across numerous amounts of teachers that impact their lives. While students are attending school they don’t notice that teachers are not here to put them down but to help them improve as they go further in life. Teachers are usually are judged on whether they are nice or not Mr. Smith and Ms. Walters are two teachers that may have impacted students’ lives whether it for better or worse. There are several similarities that these two teachers share, but at the same time they are very different. Mr. Smith, a 7th grade science teacher at Odyssey Middle School was one of the scariest teachers most students ever had. The reason most people found him scary was because of his eyes. For example, when a student would ask him a question he would look them in the eyes. Although this may not seem like a scary situation, but numerous students describe it as if he was looking in their soul searching for any lies they were harboring. He was extremely strict and wouldn’t bend the rules for anyone. He would never allow his class to have a free period, where they would be able to relax. His class was such a bore. Walters, may just be one of the best teachers at Santaulces Community High School. She is the 11th grade AICE General Paper’s teacher. She provided her students with the right knowledge to pass the AICE exam. Unlike Mr. Smith, she is not strict. She allows student to turn in late work and eat in her class. She is like a caring mother. Her classroom is always stocked with food for kids to eat when they are hungry. She is one of the approachable teachers that someone can tell his or her secrets to. For instance, a well-known friend confided in Ms. Walters with her problems, by the end of the day her problems were solved. Ms. Walters was able to find the student food for her to eat and she wrote her a resume so she can get a job to support her
