Christians and more other religions look at Satanism as the religion people praise the devil. They are not like any other faith that is in practice. Satanism was founded by Anton LaVey, he man who made the Church of Satan. Satanists are atheists and don’t believe in the devil. The three aspects I feel are important to Satanism are how they view life and death, one is their own redeemer, fully responsible for their own life, view of drugs and alcohol. To Satanists they believe that life is therefore something to be enjoyed to its fullest. Satanists are encouraged to embrace whatever it is that they enjoy, living full, sensual, self-indulgent lives. To them there is no heaven or hell that is non existent. Life is important not death, there is no one in the next life that will judge you or punishment. "Life is one great indulgence; death is one great abstinence.” An excerpt from the Satanic Bible. Death to Satanic’s is not a reward meaning they should not embrace death and be happy. Satanic’s feel like that only if death is surely and most doubt going to happen than they will accept it. Reason why that they believe life should be lived to it’s highest potential/fullest meaning what one gets out of life what one puts into it. A person who pursues everything they want, and to the ones who remain idle and get what is given to them. Death is something they don’t think of, it is nothing really big to them. They don’t want to think of it just live their life while on earth. I feel that it is important how they view life and death is interesting. I like that how they feel but can’t most agree with it but yes I’d live my life to the fullest. It’s a great thinking and it’s their way that they Satanic’s can all agree on. Nothing in this world to them is more important than living their life. Second aspect would be that they are responsible for their own lives, what ever happens to them they are accountable for it. They are their own god and caretaker. Satanists are supposed to accept their responsibilities and accept the outcomes of their actions. No one can control what you do or say it is all up to you. You are the one to find and seek for yourself. Satanists they believe that you are accountable for own life is so that one will not fall under someone else. One must have control not others manipulation them in any sort of way. All one does it all up to them. I feel that it is important because it’s true everything that you do is based on what you do. One must indulge in their own life and see what they can do on their own. Don’t have someone hold your hand your whole life and you have to grow to see what will happen to yourself. It will improve and preserve one’s rights in life. Last aspect is Satanic’s view of drug and alcohol abuse. Their actions as individuals shall not be condemned as being sanctioned by the Church of Satan. One must pay
