Young adults often seem to forget how to manage their lives once they enter college. This is due to many young people not being able to deal with a lack of restriction. At Savannah State University, we have an ethos that was developed about 15 years ago and it is meant to be a code for students who attend to follow. The young men and women who attend Savannah State University are expected to live by the ethos, and more is expected of us than any other student at any other University as well. In regards to the ethos, I believe that I am completing following the ethos code for males. I feel that I am a young man on this campus and I represent what a male that attends Savannah State University should be.

If you are a male attending Savannah State University, it is an absolute must that you follow the ethos made for males to follow. After reading over the ethos statement for men, I have come to the decision that I definitely fit the profile of someone who is following the ethos code correctly. I also feel that I represent the qualities that are listed in the ethos for young men who attend Savannah State University. The statement of ethos for men lists numerous items

Which includes, treating women fairly, engaging in personal growth, as well uplifting the fellow males who attend this University. The ethos provides both males and females with a moral code that they should follow to not only make themselves better, but to make their University better. When it comes to fitting the profile of someone who is following the ethos, I am the embodiment of someone who is following the ethos statement for males. Concluding, I represent the qualities of the ethos and I fit the profile of a Savannah State University male who follows the ethos
