Part 1 : Short Answer
1. An emotion that Bradstreet expresses in her poem could be, deep sense of emptyness. She has raised them and now their gone.
2. "The colonists' fight for survival had become daily routine, and the climate, lack of food, and primitive living arrangements made it very difficult for Anne to adapt" This helped her open her imagination. It also helped her reject the struggle that she was going through.
3. A simile that could be inserted in to this poem could be cows as hens and bulls as cocks, This could be a simile because just like the birds, cows take care of their babys and they later on see them fade away.

1. Was Hester Prynne a heroine? Yes, i do think that Hester Prynned was a heroine. Even though she committed adultary with the pastor, that still doesn't take her nobility away from her.
