“Beep! Beep! Beep!” I glance at the alarm clock. It read 6:47 am. I roll out of bed and slip on my pink bunny slippers. I set down the teddy bear my dad gave me years before his death. Mom yells, “Sofi! Breakfast is ready!” I can smell the fresh batter and maple syrup up in my room. I race down the stairs and jump into the chair. I thank my mom and I launch(gobble) all of my food down my throat. My Mom and I are running late so I quickly slip on my clothes and grab my suitcase. I scramble into the shiny, silver jeep. My mom inserts the keys and started the engine. We hurry(race) into the airport. The clock read 7:06am. I gaze at the picture perfect clouds floating in the sky.

I was still crying. I was not ready for this. “Do you want me to contact them?” she asked.
“Yes please.” I said back very quickly and desperately. I gave her their phone numbers. The receptionist left and I closed my eyes.
I’m in the car now. I look very callow(young). I look like me when I was 6 years old. Me and my dad are caroling(singing) to the radio. I am having a lot of fun.
“Dad! Watch out!”
I squeeze my eyes as the two cars collide and fly off the road.
My eyes fly open. I smell the cleanliness of the room. My family looks at the fear in my eyes. I greet my family as they showed up in my slumber(rest). I do not talk about the incident that happened back when I was 6. My family assumes my fear is from earlier not my nightmare. I go with the flow. I am peaceful now with the ride sticking to my brain. My family and I talk for a good hour. I decide I am going to go home with my Dad’s brother. The other Spielman’s. The wave goodbye to my other family and they give me a daily kit to treat my burns.
