Mean by Diversity the differences between individuals and groups in society arising from gender, ethnic origins, social, cultural or religious background, family structure, disabilities, sexuality and appearance. The Human Rights Act 1998. This covers many different types of discrimination, including some that are not covered by other discrimination laws.
