Throughout the story “miriam by Truman Capote, the character Mrs.Miller shows multiple signs that she has schizophrenia. After being left alone for most of her life, it is believed that she developed schizophrenia with the following signs shown; Hallucinations, Delusions, Over sleeping and forgetfulness. Firstly, Bradbury starts the text off by saying that her husband ad left and Mrs.Miller was widow and one night she decides to go out to a movie. When she arrives, “she suddenly became conscious of a little girl standing under the marquee” this is showing that she is hallucinating a girl there when in reality there is no one there but it does not become known till later in the text that this little girl is not real. This suggests that she could
