Going through high school many of us change our mind many times about what we want to do when we “grow” up. Maybe it is not so much growing up but more of what we want to do with the rest of our lives. Making this decision can be very hard for some of us. Personally I have a passion for art, I love it and I am pretty good at it. Along with art I also live teaching younger children how to do different art related things. Becoming an elementary school art teacher is what I want to do after high school. I always loved to draw and make different art projects growing. Art was always my favorite class. Going into to high school I thought signing up for art 1-2 was something for me my freshman year, half way through the year I was transferred to Benson Transferring to Benson messed up my class schedule pretty bad. I got thrown into to this class called pottery 1-2, I was not happy about this. Walking into the class hating it already because I did not want to be there, however I walked out with a new passion. I love ceramics. I am currently a fourth year pottery student at Northwest, not to mention the only fourth pottery student northwest has had in almost seven years. I honestly cannot see myself pulling away from art or pottery after high school or even college and be happy with my job and where my life is going. Being the oldest child is not always the best thing. Sometimes you have to suck it and watch your younger siblings or cousins. I was definitely the one who watched all the kids. My sister is not that much younger then me, only by two
