My desire to become a teacher evolved around my second grade teacher, who made each child in the class feel special. At this time I was a struggling reader with attention Deficit Disorder without special education services. There is not enough space to elaborate on mentor influence on my decision to become a teacher of young children. Today, twenty one years later valued mentor as I develop skills as a caring and competent early childhood educator. My journey on becoming the ultimate early childhood teacher has been and continues to be an exciting complex and challenging learning experience. At the onset of my training I was assured that my most important commitment as a teacher of young children must be my wholehearted allegiance to children. I have made that pledge. I am also committed to the profession and the ethical conduct and responsibilities to the National Association for the Education of Young Children and policies mandated by the State of Texas. Additionally, I make a commitment to myself as a teacher, a teacher who cares about the young children and policies mandated by the State of Texas. Additionally, I make a commitment to myself as a teacher, a teacher who cares about the young children. During the stages of my professional development I am developing a working educational philosophy. This document reflects my thoughts beliefs, and values education and regarding early childhood education. One’s personal philosophy of education should be general enough
I am the kind of person that becomes relentless when my sights are set on a target. When I determine my priority, I make every adjustment necessary to align my actions and thoughts towards that goal. This is something I have learned about myself during my transition into college. No matter what the endeavor, I am tenacious and resourceful enough to achieve success. This trait, as I have discovered, is perfect for scoring the highest possible grades in my university coursework. Some of my friends…
In my younger years I began to accumulate my knowledge of computers, not just running programs and using them, but the internal workings of both hardware and software. Working on computers had become a hobby and I found joy in the challenges of troubleshooting the components and software that the computers contained. Later on I began to troubleshoot PCs that belonged to other people. And though I had already known so much regarding these machines, it was an ongoing learning experience because technology…

Project #2 Scholarship
Dear scholarship committee,
Throughout my short, 18 year old life, many people have asked me the question: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" From when I was a child, I have always responded with: "Baseball player." During all four of my years at high school, I attended many showcases and travel leagues to show off my playing abilities. College coaches and prospects would show up to watch my team play…
Since the day of my birth, my family has always wanted me to be a doctor. I was in a Christian school until 5th grade. That was when I started middle school. Du to a financial crisis in the family, I wasn’t able to go to a Catholic middle school. However, in 7th grade, my parents somehow arranged for me to go to a Catholic middle school. I was very grateful because spending one year in a public middle school was just horrible.
I would like to be a doctor. I have decided to go to a medical collage…

Hi, I am Michael Antretter and to the best of my knowledge, I will not be receiving financial aid grant funding for Summer Sea Term, 2013, from any other source other than the Alumni Association.
"One hand for oneself and one for the ship" literally means that when you are on a ship, always use one hand to steady yourself, and one to work, but to me it means so much more. It can be fitted to so much more than just ships but to land based jobs, personal relationships, and even classes. I have had…
Good morning Scholarship committee,
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application for scholarship. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.
My name is Amanni Sitz, I am a senior at Fallsburg High School and am planning to go one to film production with a side of technology. My thinking here is that if the ultimate dream of being in film production does not come to be at least I will have the technology to fall back on.
I was born in Brooklyn and lived…
Scholarships For The Deserving
In today’s economy and current job market, receiving a college degree is now more important than ever. While a college degree is more important to getting a job it is also becoming increasingly difficult for many incoming students to pay for their tuition. There are currently two forms of scholarships: merit based, and need based. Everyone that attends college should be there because they deserve to be. Therefore…

THE ANSWER IS BLOWING IN THE WIND
We live in a nation where money is the catalyst for all our ideas, but with the recent economic downturn money has become an increasingly limited resource in the United States. When NASA put man on the moon the nation threw millions of dollars at the program until we found what worked, and now the space program is in jeopardy. We can’t just throw money at our energy problem. Developing…
To the members of the Scholarship Committee,
I feel the need to request any available scholarships to assist me in furthering my education. I
live with only my mother who has helped to put my three older sisters through college. She did the
best she could to help out financially, however, they still needed to take out significant loans. I know
my mother feels obligated to help me with my college expenses even though she is running our home
on her own. Any scholarships that I would receive would not only be of a great assistance to me…
