School is just a part of normal everyday life for most people in North America, you wake up, brush your teeth, eat breakfast, and then get dressed. When you get dressed for school you want something that is comfortable, stylish, and modest because you’re going to school. Sounds pretty normal right? Well in a lot of school this is not the case, “modesty” is taken to all new extremes. School dress codes need to be revised because they are discriminatory to both genders, they teach girls that their body is wrong, school dress codes are inadvertently supporting victim blaming.
