School Lunch Menu Analysis

Our school lunch menu could use a makeover, to say the least. To describe our current selections, I would say that it lacks variation and diversity - both of which I attribute to a small and restricted budget. I think our cafeteria needs actual chefs to prepare fresh food daily, an incentive to actually make students want to eat from the cafeteria. I get that this is considered "wishful thinking" but it would be nice to have if the budget allowed for it. I would love to see more fruit and vegetables available. I, for one, would gladly buy a veggie plate or fruit plate instead of the usual pizza offered. If menus were student-made and if students were allowed to have more hands on approach when it comes to school lunch, i think it would encourage
