In terms of the school-to-prison pipeline, there are several major points of concern. One, students with emotional and behavioral disabilities are more likely to run into trouble with the law because of aggressive, impulsive, or antisocial activities they began to participate in. This problem is further exasperated by frequently poor family relationships that either encourage antisocial behavior, fail to offer support when anti-social behavior begins to develop or is the cause of many of the individual’s problems (example abuse).
