The misinterpretations occurring with the Catholic church encouraged me to educate those weren’t understanding the church’s intentions. I had no idea of this until I stumbled upon a few neighbors around my community in disbelief. These critics had not only caused young adults to step away from the church, they had also caused many individuals to rely on various forms of drugs and alcohol in search of happiness. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to utilize my patience to tackle these issues, and have had success changing many of my peer's bad habits.
With the help of courage and confidence, I have had the opportunity to utilize the special talents God gifted me. During our two-hour class every Thursday, I made several connections between my life and the essential question of the week. In addition, I have also focused a lot on the various teachings the bible wants us to understand. Although this has been problematic, I have tried to understand the various forms of writing to the best of my ability.

The discussions have usually been led by me, and the topics are chosen by the catechists. The topic of the discussion has always been engaging but vague at the same. While everyone had something different to input, everyone’s answers somehow fit coherently. I utilized various key points from these discussions to mentor some of my friends who were going through some very rough addictions. At first, the idea of confronting my friends about their issues was generally a bad one. My peers felt like secluding themselves from the world was going to solve everything.
