Group: Run for the World 5k
Project Objective:
Host a 5k event to raise at least $1,000 for Association of International Students, on November 15th, 2014 at Panther Trail on campus, at a cost that does not exceed what we can collect through sponsors.

Kilometer markers (each team member does 1 kilometer)

Major Milestones:
Reserve venue by September 22, 2014
Obtain around 5 sponsors for materials by September 26, 2014
Print event flyers by September 29, 2014
Hand out flyers on October 1, 2014
RSVP by October 15, 2014
Obtain all materials by November 10, 2014
Event date: November 15, 2014
Begin final report December 1, 2014
Complete final report by December 7, 2014
Technical Requirements:
The Panther Trail must be free of obstacles
Appropriate sound system to use outdoors
Have a first aid kit on hand
Appropriate clothing/shoes for the weather
Facilities to use the restroom
Limitations/Exclusions:
Maximum/minimum of 5 members per teams
No one under the age of 16 can participate
No single person can run for more than one teamRunners need to bring their own shoes/clothing
No more than 2 teams start running at a time
No more team registrations after 9:15am
Teams who show up late do not get a “refund of donation” nor can participate
No alcoholic beverages
Smoking allowed only in designated smoking areas
No weapons allowed
