Position Title: Center Coordinator
Reports to: Center Administrator
Primary Function: Serves as a “jack-of-all-trades” by providing organizational and advisory assistance to the Center Administrator, maintaining payroll for a portion of the staff, and supervising the clerks at the front desk.
Major Responsibilities:
Keeping the Center Administrator Organized
Maintains the administrator's appointment calendar. Assists administrator with communication involving but not limited to correcting grammar, composing correspondence as needed, and composing response memorandum to various organizations. Works with Administrator and United Way to keep track of employee contributions. Has a keen awareness of the administrator's duties and the ability to relay appropriate information in the administrator's absence.
Customer Service Excellence
Composes messages to patients who request information. Answers and screens phone calls for the administrator. Ability to manage conflicts with the public at the front desk and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner. Can handle various situations at the front desk, including talking with job applicants, accepting bills for services rendered to the Center, and the ability to give clear and concise directions to patients.
Ability to Oversee Payroll and Employee Attendance
Keeps track of the time records of 7 employees, and fills out the appropriate forms for various different situations including sick/leave days, promotions, demotions, and terminations.
Works with the Administrator and Accounting Department on the Annual Budget
Maintains a working spreadsheet with the accounting department. Responsible for calculating annual salary and benefit totals for employees, and
