What techniques did you use during your investigation? Briefly describe the techniques used and why you choose to use them.

Threat Assessment A risk evaluation considers the full range of threats such as natural, criminal, terrorist, and accidental for a given site. The evaluation will review supporting information to evaluate the significant likelihood of incidents for each risk. Natural threats We looked at past data from the frequency of occurrences of the natural catastrophe such as fires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

Criminal threats We looked at the surrounding areas for signs of nefarious activities. Also, we look at the assets in the facility to determine if such goods attract trespassers.

This analysis examines the probable impact of loss from a powerful attack as well as the susceptibleness of the facility to attack. An essential component of the vulnerability assessment is accurately defining the appraisal for the impact of loss and vulnerability.

Risk Analysis A combination of the effects of deficit rating and the vulnerability rank can be used to evaluate the future risk to the facility from a given threat.

How do the roles of the private sector and public law enforcement agencies differ?

Public Law Detectives, sheriffs and police officers are public sector security employees. Their jobs are to make sure society is crime-free. Their duties include writing speeding tickets, working with a

Crime scene, making arrests, and they are given the discretion to use force when necessary. Public sector security is funded with government money, so police are accountable to society.
