Self-Discipline In Odysseus In Homer's Odyssey

One thing me and Odysseus from The Odyssey by Homer and me have in common is our self-discipline. Evidence from the book that shows self-discipline from Odysseus is when he says, “No one taste the lotus, or you’ll lose your hope of home”(898). This textual evidence shows that Odysseus knew the risk and decided not to take it because then his men would go crazy and not want to leave the island. Likewise, I show self-discipline when I do my homework and studying before I use my freetime to do something of leisure.
