A self-fulfilling prophecy is a prediction that directly or indirectly causes itself to become true, by the very terms of the prophecy itself, due to positive or negative feedback between belief and behavior. There was a time in my life when public speaking was not my field of confidence. I can remember when I took the course speech 101, at the beginning of the course I was lacking confident in my work.
