I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. I went to a private elementary school there with high educational goals, small class sizes, student-centered teaching, and a highly engaging and active curriculum that effectively stimulated intellectual growth. The academic program emphasized the all of children's areas of development, nurturing in them a lifelong love of learning and thus building a strong academic foundation for them.

After graduating from elementary school, I attended a girls-only middle school and high school. Even now, I am very thankful to my parents for enrolling me in this school, because in a single-sex school, a girl can learn to understand and appreciate her own intrinsic value and capabilities in ways that have nothing to do with how she …show more content…
With this knowledge, I can learn useful tactics for analyzing and solving problems to triumph over any difficult circumstances that organization may face. I believe studying in this program will prepare me to succeed in leading any organization that works in nonprofit management for the public good. As Greenleaf mentioned in his book Servant Leadership: “We need leaders who understand the nature of humanity and can foster a deep sense of community. Such leaders embrace diversity rather than insisting on uniformity. They understand what it means to develop the freedom, health, wisdom, and autonomy of others.”

Choosing to enroll in the Organization and Leadership program at the University of San Francisco is one of the best choices I have ever made in life; all aspects of this program greatly impress me.
