Thus having emotional feelings show others that people illustrate appreciation, affection, and remorse. Derived form the movie, Andrew and Portia have an affair; intimately expressing their love for one another. As a result the two lovers want to get married and not hide their feelings from the world. Both Portia and Andrew display inclusiveness towards each other which is an affectionate characteristic between humans. Accordingly, people tend to express their passions and/or feelings either physically, emotional, or spiritual ways; these characteristics are part of the human nature; in themselves feelings are neither morally good nor morally evil.

Humans are blessed with a conscience: A conscience is a faculty or sense that leads to feelings of remorse when we do things that go against our moral values, or which informs our moral judgment before performing such an action. Such feelings are not intellectually reached, though they may cause us to examine our conscience and review those moral precepts, or perhaps resolve to avoid repeating the behaviour. Earlier on in the movie while on the beach with Miss and Little Miss, Andrew was new and becoming accustomed to the Martin family. Meanwhile Little Miss gave Andrew her precious toy horse, and accidentally Andrew dropped it; causing the toy horse to shatter into pieces.
