I found that there are seven guidelines for accepting constructive criticism. Many people might not know how to accept criticism as well as others, and will assume that they are being bashed. It is important to learn how to accept constructive criticism whether it’s from your boss or another employee because they are only trying to help you and the company not bash you. Listen respectfully when the person is speaking to you regardless if they are telling you something negative. It is easy to become frustrated or emotional when someone is criticizing your work.
