While on a vacation with his family, 2 year old toddler, Lane Graves was suddenly attacked by an alligator while he was playing near the water at Seven Seas Lagoon on Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. It is said that the family attended a movie night at the resort and it was held outside. After the movie was over the family went near the Seven Seas Lagoon and let their son Lane play in the sand. Lane was about two feet away from the water when suddenly an alligator came onto the beach and attacked him. The dad jumped into the lagoon trying his best to save his son from the alligator but was unsuccessful. People involved in the alligator tragedy are the Graves family. The family lost their son in a bizarre tragic event while on vacation. Disney Employees were involved because they had to make the guests that were staying at the resort aware of the situation that was at hand and also comfort the grieving family that just lost their son. Florida authorities and search and rescue teams were involved because they had to dive into the lagoon in order try to find Lane. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were involved because they had to catch and euthanize alligators in the Seven Seas Lagoon, analyze and then determine if Lane’s remains were inside of them.
