Experience is everything, which is why the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries is the perfect choice for your wedding ceremony and reception. Designed by the 1904 World's Fair architect, Louis C. Spiering in 1912, the special event facilities have been serving Midtown St. Louis, Missouri for over 100 years!
Guests attending an event at the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries are treated with 7,000 square feet of art galleries that include photography, architecture, jazz exhibits and more. The décor and art blend in the Sheldon Concert Hall, where a renovation in the year 2001 installed five breathtaking, stained glass windows.
The Sheldon Concert Hall. Nicknamed "The Carnegie Hall of the Midwest," it provided the best acoustics for the world's top performers in the world, but on your wedding night, it's all for you. Couples can hold their ceremony on the stage, surrounded by as many as 712 guests. Full use of the Green Room and dressing area is available for the bridal party. A house manager and ushers are available upon request.

Following a ceremony at the Sheldon Concert Hall, the Sheldon Ballroom is a great site to hold the reception. The rental includes up to 25, 66-inch round tables and can seat up to 200 guests with food stations and a dance floor or 250 guests for a plated dinner and dance floor. A standing cocktail reception can accommodate up to 300 guests.
The Louis Spiering Room. The largest space available for weddings at the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries, the Louis Spiering Room can seat up to 500 guests. Rentals include up to 50, 66-inch tables and can seat 200 guests with food stations and the dance floor, 250 guests with a seated dinner and the dance floor or a maximum of 300 guests for a standing room only cocktail
