Shoeless Joe Jackson, was accused of being involved in throwing the 1919 World Series when the Chicago White Sox played the Cincinnati Reds. Joe and seven of his teammates was found innocent in court but were still banned from baseball and more importantly, the Hall of Fame. Throughout the series Jackson gave it his all, scoring 5 runs and averaging a .375 batting average proving he was not involved in the fix.
