Video games have been around for years they have been causing real life aggression and violence. But everybody not knowing what they do or cause. For many years video games have been a major problem that affects kids, teens, and sometimes even parent. This could cause major problems if people do not start acting upon it. Video games cause antisocial behavior and cause people to be aggressive in real life situations.
Violent video games cause real life aggression and antisocial behavior in people. In the article “ Shooting in the dark” by Benedict Carey, a study at Iowa State University explored whether or not playing brutal video games for 15 minutes had any effect on violent behavior. The research team found that, “compared with a group who had played a nonviolent video game, those who had been engaged in “ Mortal Kombat” were more aggressive across the board”, meaning the gamers demonstrated hostile behavior. In the article “Shooting in the Dark”, It stated “some study in schools elsewhere found that it is aggressive children who are the most likely to be drawn to violent video games in the first place.” This shows how violent kids are connected to video

In the article “ Violent video games may stop crime by keeping criminals busy playing violent video games” by Evan Dashevsky it states that “They’ll stop watching TV, they’ll stop doing homework, and they’ll stop going out and creating mayhem on the street.” This quote shows how video games could stop crime from happening, but this happens to be not true. In the article “ Shooting in the dark” by Benedict Carey, it states “Some studies done in schools or elsewhere have found that it is aggressive children who are the most likely to be drawn to violent video games in the first place; they are self-selected to be in more schoolyard conflicts.” This shows how it does cause aggression in
