Witness/Narrative: Gabriel Archer (Gabe) Hook: well since you stopped here I'm guessing you're interested in American history right? Well if you are I'm guessing you've heard of Jamestown and John Smith, Pocahontas and all that but what about me, Gabriel Archer? After all I am one of the most important reasons why Jamestown existed and all but forgotten. So join me in this brief session where I get to tell you about my life.
Background info (birthplace, birthdate, any relevant childhood info., relevant relationship info., etc.):
I was born in Mountnessing 1575 about 25 miles away from London. My parents were very devout Catholics and were fined a very hefty sum for not going to our local Anglican Church. I attended Cambridge University, and Grays Inn where I studied law, and became an attorney.
What led up to the main event?:
Back in 1602 I was a…show more content… Trees as far as the eye could see. The reason Jamestown was established was for gold, rumors that there were great treasures on this land, but I didn't care I went to explore. I became the author of a book describing what Jamestown was like. I described in very specific detail what it was like living here and what the natives were like, savage animals who wanted nothing more than to kill us.
Tho I had no intention of it, I became the secretary of Jamestown, also one of the reasons why the book was made. I kept records, made appointments, basically made the history of Jamestown and what did Famous John smith do? Committed treason. I haven't told you have I? Me and John smith never saw eye to eye, he took all the glory of Jamestown but he wasn't nearly as important. I made history, and he was almost executed by Indians but was supposedly saved by and Indian. What was her name Polkadotas? Pocahontas? Whatever it was his story had to of been false so I ordered for his execution to get that idiot silenced. Sadly it was never carried
