"Babe!" Kyle shouted loudly while entering in through front door of his one bedroom apartment.

"You hush now Kyle” Loretta said while rushing into the living space. "You'll wake the baby."

"Babe, I have Terrible news!" Kyle said to Loretta with weary eyes. "I’ve lost my job today. I’m really sorry babe.”

Loretta stared deeply into Kyle's eye with an intense look on her face. "How did you lose your job Kyle?" she asked fiercely. "You knew better than that! Now here we are with this 4 month old baby and no income. I'm not working, nor are you, I'm jobless, and so are, I’m upset, and you shall be too! You seemed unphased by it" says Loretta. "Babe don't worry." Kyle responded in an even, yet manly tone.

Out of 2 interns, only one person would be offered the full-time paid position after 3 months. Living off of government assistance and disability, Kyle knew that change had to come.

On a typical day, Kyle would wake up to change baby Kia, then check on his sick mother. After ensuring that the two most important girls in his life was taken care of, Kyle would then bathe himself, then cook breakfast and supper for the day while also preparing food for the baby. By 6 a.m, Kyle was expected to be at work and Kyle didn't get off until 6 p.m. Working on his feet all day and taking care of his ladies all night, Kyle was determined to succeed in life. Kyle knew that though others may not have saw his grind, he did, and that's all that mattered. After working at the car wash for 3 months now, Kyle knew that this was his one and only passion. While at work, Kyle stayed focused the entire 12 hours. Bringing in the most requests, Mr. Dicks manager began to notice his hard work.
