Yet again, more kids are caught fighting in many places around Australia. I completely agree with the Vigilant mother complaining about violence in children. In today's day and age, people are ruled by the internet and electronics. This is having a massive impact on generation Z. Children are exposed to violence through video games, videos, social media and much more. As children get older, they get access to more and more violent information. As a result of this, youth aged 15 to 19 are considered Australia's most dangerous people. Video games such as Grand Theft Auto, glorify illegality and crime. Children are taught to steal alcohol under age, assault people and steal for amusement. Also, many other games are about shooting others to the death. Even in educational games, you have to complete specific tasks without ‘dying’. Because of this, juvenile offender rates are generally twice as high as adult ones.

By the age of two, most children in australia would be able to operate at least one game on a device such as an iPad. This means that by the time that the children have access to the entire realms of the internet, they are 100% comfortable with operating it. If a child wants to play a very violent game, they can do it with ease. More than 90 percent of kids play video games, and more than 90 percent of games rated for people 10 years or above contain violence. This can only mean that the kids playing these games get seriously affected
