Is it really fair that a football players gets paid more in one week than a soldier gets paid in one year? We would not be able to go through our everyday life if wasn’t for our soldier’s.
We don’t count on our football players for anything more than winning a game. We count on our soldiers for every day we’re able to live. Our soldiers risk their lives everyday for us. They are never guaranteed their next breath.
And they go through all this hardship for their American citizens. You have to be completely selfless to be a soldier. Football players are doing what they do for fun. They get to play the game they love,get rich, become famous, and constantly live in glory just for being good at a sport. Our soldiers definitely don’t get …show more content…
Our soldiers put in a lot of hard effort to be good enough to protect this country. They don’t enjoy suffering through bootcamps but they do it anyway. Football players will never put in near as much work as a soldier does. Soldiers also are constantly having to be ready to go fight. Most of the time they don’t know when they are going to be deployed. And when they do get deployed, they can be gone for weeks, months, or even years at a time. That’s a long time to be away from your family.
Football players have a regular, simple schedule. They practice once a day and have a game 2 to 3 times a week in their off season, they just practice once a day; and during some weeks, they get a few days off. They still have time to party, play, and have fun.
Soldiers can’t even think about partying and playing because they are constantly staying prepared to go fight. And when they aren’t fighting, they are training to fight. Our soldiers put in so much work for their country every single day. And we don’t even appreciate them enough to pay them what they deserve. Football players are playing for themselves, and they get all the money and glory. Our hard working soldiers deserve that money and glory a lot more than football players
