Should Gays Have Their Own Flag?

Studies suggest that approximately 9 million americans identify as LGTB (Lesbian Gay Transgender Or Bisexual). With it being so many I don't think gays should get as much recognition as they do. They shouldn't have their own flag. They shouldn't have a whole parade dedicated to just them. They already have the rights to get married and still feel they deserve more. I’m not in any way against gay people i’m just against the over the top, always want to be seen and recognized gay people. Straight people don't have their own flag. Gays act like they want their sexual orientation to be treated like it's an ethnicity when it's not.
