As racist as Huck Finn may be it still should be a part of school’s curriculum, but only should be taught to students who demonstrate a level of maturity deemed by the teacher. Many people may argue that the book shouldn’t be taught in school because it is humiliating and offensive, however Huck Finn accurately capture a time period of America and teaches students an important time in American history.
