The issue of whether or not teenagers should have a curfew has recently come up for discussion. Many people think teenagers are disobeying and irresponsible, however, others thinks teenagers are responsible. Although some feel a curfew would make teenagers stay out of trouble, others feel there shouldn't be a curfew because it would interfere with his or her work schedule, it wouldn't allow one to help with family, and it would interfere with sports. One important reason is that it would interfere with his or her work schedule. This is because teenagers can have late night shifts, and if she or he were not able to work the full shift, they could get fired. For instance, if the grandfather had chest pains and needed to go to the Emergency Room in the middle of the night, but lived out in the country, then his grandchild couldn't drive him to the hospital, not saving his life from cardiac arrest, because of being out late in the effect of the curfew. Furthermore, if a grandson was late night cooking for Sunday brunch, the next day, because his disabled grandmother was unable to reach the stove, then ran out of eggs, he would have to stop cooking, ruining the food, because he couldn't go out to get the eggs. That, it wouldn't allow one to help with his or her family, is another reason, but there is still one more. Perhaps the most compelling reason is that it would interfere with sports. This is because, overtime and traveling games would continue after curfew. For instance, if the football team went into overtime, ending the game at 9:30 then the team, and all supporters, would be out even later than expected trying to get home. Furthermore, if the softball traveling team went out to a game, an hour away, the team and fans, wouldn't get back in time before the curfew began. Therefore, there should not be a curfew. First, it would interfere with his or her work schedule. Then it wouldn't allow one to help
