Essay 2 One of my favorite books that I have read in the past two years is Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick. The novel kept me very interested with the story. I am not the biggest reader but when I read this novel I just couldn't put the book down. The book was also made into a movie. The movie was a good movie but left out some stuff that the book had in it. The book first caught my attention when Matthew Quick used the setting in a small New Jersey town, where everyone is mainly an Eagles fan. Growing up my dad was born and raised in Philly, so he influenced me to be an Eagles fan. Spending a lot of time in Pennsylvania I was able to relate with the story and the similarities in how the Eagles were a big part of everyday life. Once I started getting into the story, I felt like i was in the story with Pat, the main character.
