Overall, on my final practical exam I think that I did rather well. On the majority of the stations I knew what to do or I figured it out within the sim. I was pretty nervous for the whole final just because of the pressure of knowing the CAATE representatives were watching and that we, for the most part, were going to be alone for the simulations. The cardiovascular simulation was the one that I believe that I had the most trouble with. I think I had the most trouble with that one because it was a situation that I had previously had where there could have been a possible c-spine injury. A high point is my clinical. I absolutely love my clinical. I have been able to go there and confidently preform any of the skills that I have learned in class with ease. The help and knowledge I have received from my preceptors has helped me to become an extremely better athletic training student this semester. I enjoyed any of my time spent at Whitmer, it has become like a home away from home there. The only thing that I did not enjoy was the time spent sitting around. There would be some days when an hour or two of my time there was spent not really doing anything productive or doing things that do not pertain to my education. Some of the low points being getting adjusted to the workload and perfecting my very imperfect time management skills. Improvements in my skills as well as my mentality and behavior have improved over the course of this semester. Being at Whitmer has allowed me to practice any skills we have covered this year, last year, and has even taught me several skills along the way. My taping skills have improved greatly since last year, as have my evaluation skills, and knowledge of common injuries. I have been able to pick up all kinds of tips and tricks from my preceptors, professors, and even the other AT students at my clinical site. I feel that I have grown a great deal, but there is still always room for
