Feudalism is a dominant social system used in government to create a protected society in which everyone has a place.There are many similarities and differences between Feudal Japan and Medieval Feudalism. A similarity between the two is that They have the same basic structure for government. A difference being they had different caste systems. Their systems were relatively close. The military leader issues land to the landholders who have soldiers on their land to protect it and there are peasants to grow crops to feed their people.
