Auschwitz and WW2
Germany invaded Poland on August 30, 1939. After the Germans captured Oswiecim they immediately started Germanization. Germanization is when Germans are killing everyone that is not German, especially the Jewish and Gypsy religions. When Oswiecim was captured planning for a concentration camp had begun. The day April 27, 1940 Himmler let construction of Auschwitz began(22). Auschwitz was the 7th concentration camp ever built(22). “Work makes you free” was placed above the gate when entering Auschwitz(26). Polish refugee’s where the first to suffer in the camp of Auschwitz(22), they weren't even Jewish(30).Auschwitz was originally built for Polish political prisoners(29). We do not take thousands from their homes and force them to work with little to no pay, little to no food or water and very little clothing for the summer and winter. We do not take hundreds of thousands of prisoners and force them to work for us and most likely kill them.
Germany also has different names for their standings in the army. For example the SS Kommandofuhrer or a squad leader. A Arbeitsdienstführer are work duty leaders. A rapportfuhrer is a report leader. A blockfuhrer is a person who leads a block of prisoners. A Volkisch is an ethnic German(26-27). In the U.S. Army we have the names of Commander, Major, general and many more.
Their clothing is very different from us. We don’t have to wear a symbol to be considered a part of the religion. When going to school we get to pick how we learn and grow up. In Germany when the Nazi party ruling, most kids originally from Germany and followed their religion they went to school specifically for serving under a leader and doing and saying whatever he wants you too.
