At least once, everyone has been through something difficult. Beowulf and Jesus definitely had some difficult times. Not only that, they also share some similarities. First, they both receive help from a higher power in some way or another. Beowulf receives help by being gifted with a magical sword. He uses this sword during his battles, and it helps him win. Even in his final battle, when he is close to death in his old age, he wins his final battle with the dragon. Jesus receives his help from the one and only God the Father.
