Have you or one of your loved ones encountered police brutality? People like George Floyd and Rodney King have been affected by police brutality. Both had an impact on America with the public's reaction. The public reacts to protests that can escalate into riots.
Rodney King was a black African American born on April 2, 1965. On March 3, 1991 in Los Angeles police got behind Rodney King and he was intoxicated driving which resulted in a high speed chase which he led for 8 miles. Once Rodney stopped, police began to brutally beat him, which was recorded by a bystander for 81 seconds. Even though Rodney did lead the police on a chase, he did not deserve to be beaten. These events took place years before the death of George Floyd.
