The imperial administration and governance of Imperial Rome and Han China have both similarities and differences. Both of these governments had extremely significant power during their rule over Rome and China. They ruled their regions for approximately 400 years. The Han dynasty ruled China from 206 B.C.E. to 220 C.E., while the Imperial Rome controlled authority from 31 B.C.E. to 476 C.E. Overall, these two powers are similar in their style of government, technology, reliance on agriculture, and social class, while their differences include their religions practiced, amount of labor and slavery used, and the way each empire ended.
