Are Buddhism and Hinduism the same? Buddhism is the seconded smallest religion in the world with 326 million adherents. Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world with 900 million adherents. A similarity between them is that they both believe in death then reincarnation. Another similarity is that they both meditate witch is a long period of thinking.

Buddhism believes in one superior god Buddha he believes in peace. He wanted everyone to be happy and not suffer even newborn babies, animals, and insects. The Buddhist sacred text is the Tipitaka.
