In many ways Odysseus can be compared to modern day heroes such as Maggie Fitzgerald In Million Dollar Baby, as they share many characteristics of a so called “hero”. In the movie Million Dollar Baby, Maggie Fitzgerald is seen as a strong woman because she is constantly training for boxing to win matches against skilled British and European opponents and eventually trains for a match for the medium weight world championship.
